The Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) recently announced that the agency’s Fisherman Identification Program (FIP) toll free operator assisted registration service has been discontinued due to budget constraints.
All anglers required to register in FIP must register for themselves online, or have someone do their FIP registration for them using the “Register Online” button at the following web link: http://mrc.virginia.gov/FIP/
The Virginia Fisherman Identification Program is a no-charge state program to register annually saltwater anglers that do not by law require a license.
